Geopolitical Practice
Our cross-border practice focuses on how global strategic risk factors impact investment, trade and commercial operations in Asia.
This work often takes the form of advising clients on pre-investment diligence, accounting for both local and home market geopolitical sensitivities, as well as risks associated with supply chains, export controls, sanctions and dual-use technology.
It may also cover capital chain and LP risk, cross-border litigation, and investor-state arbitration, and scenario-based crisis planning and risk mitigation.
Specialism sectors and issues include trade and investment dynamics, supply chains and critical materials, AI and digital infrastructure, and energy and power.
